Century United encourages players of all ages to inquire about opportunities on any one of its teams.

Team tryouts are held throughout each season.

To inquire about a tryout, please click here and complete the online registration. Coaches will invite interested players to a team training session or specific tryout.

All tryouts are held at the Century United Soccer Complex, 973 Hough Drive, South Park, PA 15236.

The U15 Red (92/93) Girls team, coached by Pat Vereb and Shelly Thropp, captured championship titles at the 2008 Jefferson Cup and CASA Tournaments.

U11 Boys (96/97) Capture Championship title at the Jefferson Cup

The Century United U11 boys were the champions of the Jefferson Cup Elite 11 x 11 Division in Richmond, VA held March 15-16, 2008. The team is coached by Mike Blatz and Rob Mertz.


Coach Jeff Holliday---2007 Almanac Coach of the Year

Coach Holliday, Mt. Lebanon High School Girl’s Varsity Coach, was named the 2007 Almanac Coach of the Year. Coach Holliday also coaches the Century United 94/95 Girls team.


Congratulations to Shelli Spamer, Century United U15 Girls Red team.  Shelli, a '92 Region 1 ODP player, will be traveling with the '91 Regional Team to compete in Italy.

Century Alumni, Matt Paglia, Receives Honors
Matt Paglia, former Century United player, is a junior forward/midfielder at Case Western Reserve. Matt has been named a third team All-American by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA). Paglia, who was a first-team NSCAA Great Lakes All-Region honoree, scored a team-best eight goals for the No. 22 ranked Spartans (12-5-1) this season and had one assist. He was a first team All-University Athletic Association (UAA) selection as he finished sixth in the UAA in goals. Matt played for the Century United Thunder team, coached by Jeff Holiday.

Century Player Invited to Attend the National Team Camp

Congratulations to Dejeli “DJ” Kouyate, of the Century United U14 Boys team! DJ has been invited to attend the U15 Boys National Team Camp on December 3, 2007. The camp will be the culmination of his participation in the NIKE Friendlies. The camp and friendlies are held at IMG Academy in Bradenton, FL. DJ was identified through the US Club Soccer ID2 program and also through the Century United U13 Boys (200-6-2007) participation in the US Club Regional and National Championship games. At the US Club Regionals held in June 2007 in Pittsgrove, NJ, the U13 Boys team played the NJ Gunners (US Club Regional Champions and Region 1 USYSA Champions) to a scoreless 0-0 draw.
